Started in 2008, by local Zombie Queen, Michelle Suhar, the Shreveport Zombie Walk began as a means to raise awareness of global hunger issues as well as collecting nonperishable goods for the Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana in Shreveport.
This is the Official Launch Party for the 2016. Come in your Zombie gear and please bring any non-perishable food items to help us support the Food Bank!!

This event takes place on SATURDAY - OCTOBER 1, 2016 from 4 PM – 9 PM in Bossier City in the 10,000 sq. ft. event center (formerly Reeves Marine near Century Link) that will also host the NECROMANOR HAUNT - GRAND OPENING!Doors will open at 7 PM to scare the public for the entire spooky month of October!The zombie walk gives attendees a fun, unique experience involving the spirit of community involvement and the pop culture phenomenon known as the “walking dead" - aka zombies. This family-friendly event charges no admission, and only asks that attendees come dressed in their finest zombie garb, bearing donations of non-perishable food items & maybe a few bucks to donate to the charities or organizations of their choice. There will be live music, a kids “no-scare" zone, vendors, artists, and lots of weird & wonderful people having a great time for great causes!
